Authentic Italian Recipes

Sponsored by Ciao Laura

There are the great cuisines of the world and then there is Italian food, which rises above everything else. (What can we say, we're partial!)  The phrase "Italian cuisine" is actually a misnomer since there is no uniform cuisine for the entire country of Italy but rather dishes and cooking styles that vary from one of Italy's regions to another. Seasonal, fresh ingredients are key to Italian recipes. In many regions, such as Tuscany, the simple dishes are from age-old cucina povere or the cuisine of the poor farmers. If you can't travel to Italy, you can always cook up some of her Italian dishes, at home.
