**Where to Find Free Internet Access in Venice (FREE Article)**

Printer-Friendly Format

This article is from the May 2005 issue of Dream of Italy.

If you are in Venice and want to access your e-mail or find something on the Internet, head to the Telecom Italia Future Centre, housed in the former Convento San Salvador. Each visitor is given a card good for a half-hour of free computer time in the upstairs Internet café. The card can also be used with video games and other electronic exhibits, but the Internet access will be of most interest to travelers. There is a limit of one card per person, per day, but visitors are welcome to return several days in a row if they wish.

As if free Internet access isn't enough of a bargain, the Future Centre's Internet Café sells a great cup of espresso for only .80 euros, probably the cheapest cup of coffee in Venice! The Telecom Italia Future Centre is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m Its on the Campo San Salvador, between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. For more information, visit www.futurecentre.telecomitalia.it
